How Personalization Works
Some gifts are great. Personalized gifts are unforgettable. Here's how to create one in three simple steps.
Step 1: Choose your product
Browse our Personalized Gifts collection, or look for personalization options on any product page. Personalization is currently available on selected mugs, ornaments, tote bags, and apparel.
Step 2: Add your details
On the product page, you'll see a customization form. Depending on the design, you can add:
- A name (first, last, or nickname)
- A meaningful date (birthday, diagnosis day, anniversary)
- A short custom message
- A specific neurotype label (ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, gifted, neurospicy, and more)
A live preview will show you exactly how it will look before you order.
Step 3: We make it. We ship it.
Once you place your order, your personalized item enters our production queue. Personalized items typically take 3 to 7 business days to produce (a little longer than non-personalized items), plus 3 to 7 business days for standard US shipping. We'll send tracking the moment it ships.

Can I personalize a gift for someone else?
Yes, absolutely. Personalized gifts are some of our most-loved orders. Whether it's a "Newly Diagnosed at 38" celebration mug, a Christmas ornament with a child's name, or a tote with your best friend's catchphrase, we've got you.
What if I make a typo?
We'll print exactly what you submit, so please double-check spelling and details before checkout. If you spot a typo within 1 hour of ordering, email us right away at contact@madeforgiftedminds.com and we'll do our best to catch it before production starts.
Can I see a preview?
Yes! Most personalized products show a live preview as you type. What you see is what you get.
Can I request a personalized design that doesn't exist yet?
